MEET THE SSCO FOUNDER

Josh Lillis

Founder

With over 25 years of signs, design a production experience Josh is the brains behind SSCO. He began his career in 1995 hand painting and constructing signs for restaurants locally in Sedona Arizona. Soon after he relocated to Portland, Oregon where he worked for one of the largest franchised sign companies in Northern America “Signs Now’ at which he was the sole installer for eleven locations between Portland and Seattle: Nike, Adidas, and Columbia Sportswear are just some of the big brand name clients he installed graphics for. All the way from planes, yachts and cars to walls and storefront windows, etc.

Following a return to Sedona in 2002 Josh opened his first outfit in the Harkins Theater Plaza doing art reproduction and vinyl graphics. After some trial and error he decided to freelance for a number of years before taking a break from signs and joining the famous mime Robert Shields of ‘Shields & Yarnell’ as an artist, personal assistant, and technical stage show director where he directed the stage lights and sounds – he also took part in on stage skits with Yarnell. After transitioning from the Shields traveling productions in 2010 Josh returned to the world of signs and Art

Can I see some examples of your work?
Absolutely. We are grateful to have so many signs in the area that we can ‘call our own’. We are more than happy to give you visual examples from our large and diverse gallery of work.
Are you licensed to do commercial work.
We work with licensed contractors that can install signs across the state. If you have have a commercial project that requires engineering or excavation, we have a civil engineer in our network that can take on these tasks. No problem.
Do you guarantee your work to last?
We guarantee our labor and workmanship in direct proportion to the materials used to produce the work. For example, if you order a temporary banner using our least expensive material, it will not last as long as the same banner using our premium banner material. Other factors, such as repeated folding/packing/shipping and environmental conditions can greatly effect the lifespan of the materials and finishes. Whatever the need we offer a wide selection in materials to meet your design brief.
